How far in advance should i book?We sugguest you make a booking as soon as you have confirmed dates for your event. Our most in demand pieces are booked months in advance so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Do i need to pay a security bond?To serve as a security bond, we will require credit card details which covers late fee/extension fee and breakage/damage fee of our hire items. These fees will be outlined in your Hire Agreement. You can provide this information over the phone and the data you provide is encrypted and safely stored.

How do i confirm a quote?To confirm your booking, we require 50% deposit, paid within 5 days from the initial invoice issue date to secure your booking. The remainder of the invoice is to be paid in full, a minimum of 14 days prior to the hire start date. If the hire start date is within 14 days of the issued invoice, the invoice will need to be paid in full. This will be specified in your hire agreement.

Is there a minimum hire amount?Yes. We require a minimum hire amount of $250 including GST and delivery fees.

How long is the hire period?The delivery and collection time will be determined based on the start and finish of your event and will be specified on your quote and hire agreement.

Can i collect my hire items?No, unfortunately we do not offer DIY collection/ transport on any of our hire items. Our items require trained team members with the correct equipment and vehicle to safely transport the hire items. Some items will require multiple team members for delivery and collection - marked as '2 person lift'

What area do you deliver to?Our warehouse is based in Perth, WA and delivery is available to the Perth Metro Area. For areas beyond, please contact us for availablity and pricing.

How is the delivery fee calculated?Delivery fees are specific to each order and take into account varying factors such as the location - where the items are delivered and collected from, access to the venue, weight of items or number of team members required for handling of the items.

When can I expect my delivery to arrive or be collected?The delivery and collection time of your items will be confirmed during the booking process and specified in your hire agreement.

Is delivery included in the hire fee?No, the delivery fees are in addition to your hire items price

Do you offer styling services?We currently do not offer event styling services however do offer design assistance through our Bespoke Studio. We would be happy to put you in touch with a stylist who can fulfil your requirements.

Will my delivery be assembled on site?The majority of our hire collection will be delivered fully assembled however some items may require assembly on site , our team members will ensure is complete.

What can you custom make in the Bespoke Studio?The possibilities are endless in our Bespoke Studio. If there is a particular design you have seen online and would like something similar, our team will work with you to create a custom design based on your inspiration photos.

What is the time-frame for a custom design?This will depend on the complexity and scale of your requested design and will be specified during the design process.

Can we keep the custom design?Yes, you will receive a quote for hire and purchase if you are interested in owning the custom made item.

Terms & ConditionsDEFINITIONS The ‘Hire Company’ is Canvas Event Hire. The ‘Client’ refers to any individual, couple or company hiring items from the ‘Hire Company’ who has signed the hire agreement. The ‘Item/s' refers to all arbours, backdrops, arches, stands, decor and any other items from our ‘Hire' collection supplied to the ‘Client'. CONDITIONS OF HIRE The customer agrees to have read, understood and acknowledged all terms and conditions and by way of signature and making payment of the invoice and hire agreement, agrees to all clauses in this document. To secure the items for your booking, the deposit needs to be paid by the due date given and a hire agreement signed that acknowledges you have read and agree to our hire term and conditions. Should this not be actioned by the due date, the hire company has the right to hire any item/s to another client. Hiring of the item/s will begin from the commencement date specified by the hire company and shall be collected or returned to the hire company by the date specified by the hire company. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT A non-refundable 50% deposit (50% of the total booking amount including GST and any delivery/collection fee) is required at the time of the booking to secure your chosen item/s. The balance of the booking shall be paid by the client 14 days prior to the event date. All payments must be made by one of the payment methods offered by the due date specified on the hire agreement. Please note that should the final payment not be made by the specified date on the hire agreement the hire company reserves the right to no longer supply any item/s for the event. No deposit will be returned should this occur. CANCELLATION POLICY A non-refundable 50% deposit (50% of the total booking amount including GST and any delivery/collection fee) is required at the time of the booking to secure your chosen item/s. The amount will be specified in your hire agreement. Any orders cancelled within 14 days of the hire day will forfeit all payments already made to the hire company (whether that’s full or 50% deposit ) due to limited availability on our items. All cancellations must be in writing and the date deemed received shall be accepted on the receiving of the cancellation by email. No verbal cancellations shall be accepted, to minimise any misunderstanding. Cancellation of a booking due to weather, or any situation out of the control of the hire company, shall still be subject to the cancellation policy above. The hire company is in no way responsible for the weather or client's personal situation that may cause the client to cancel their event or booking. SECURITY BOND To serve as a security bond, we will require credit card details which covers late fee/extension fee and breakage/damage fee of our hire items. These fees will be outlined in your Hire agreement. Any unreturned or unusable items will be charged to the client at a full replacement/damage cost. The replacement cost will be outlined on your hire agreement. DAMAGE, LOST, STOLEN OR UN-RETURNED ITEMS Upon delivery of the item/s and until the return of the item/s to the hire company’s premises, the client has full responsibility of all/ any item hired. The client shall protect the hire item/s from the elements during the time of hire. In poor weather conditions storage of the hire item/s may be necessary and is the responsibility of the client to see that the item/s are stored safely. Any item damaged from weather is the full responsibility of the client and shall be paid at full replacement cost to the hire company. Should an item become damaged while in the possession of the client, it is the client's responsibility to notify the hire company immediately after the event should the item not be in a satisfactory condition. It is then at the hire companies discretion to charge the replacement fee which is outlined on the hire agreement. DELIVERY COLLECTION AND SETUP Fees will be charged to the client for any delivery and / collection of item/s. This fee will vary depending upon distance travelled from the hire company’s premises, amount of item’s hired, amount of setup required and installation time (if any) and team members required. The client will be advised of the delivery fee once all hire item/s have been decided upon. This fee may be subject to change should the client then change the amount of item/s hired. Unless a setup fee has been charged and agreed upon by the hire company, the hire company in not responsible for the set up of item/s. Delivery and retrieval will occur at the business / event venue location, at an agreed time specified in the hire agreement. PHOTOS The client consents to allow the hire company to use any images shown on social media that displays the creative use of the item/s hired while at the clients event. The hire company will endeavour to credit any photographers and other suppliers involved. INSURANCE The hirer shall always own all products supplied. Once item's are delivered/picked up, the client assumes all responsibilities and liabilities relating to the agreed item/s while in their possession until they have been collected/received back by the hire company. The Client is responsible for maintaining all appropriate policies of insurance, covering liability, property and casualty insurances in amounts necessary to fully protect the Hirer and their products against all claims, loss or damage. The hire company shall in no way be held responsible or accountable for any injury, death or loss of income caused to the customer, guests, staff at event venues or any third parties or properties due to the hire item/s provided by the hire company.
